Forgive past times 7 3 3

A-S-L-E - L- E_A

It looks like absolve all era but never heard of it
only iffy letter is the S
from the clue how to repair a break
I did have put a pot on it which I liked but as it looked like absolve changed it to set a put on it

Appreciate any help

Not heard of it either. The middle word could be OLD (past).
The other alternative is that it could be Latin.

I would think the only thing would be is to 'Absolve all sin.' Let us know if you've made a mistake or we've got it wrong... good luck.

Yes I thought sin
but the clues that give me e-a
are
trained operatives - sKiLled WoRkErS?
chew it over - MaStIcatE?
capital letters are ones from other clues

I (probably wrongly) parsed
forgive=absolve
past=old
times=era

Folkes had suggested the words - I just put them together.
