Seemed to get thro' bottom half OK but stuck a bit on top half. Eg 1a) = Drink for 3s (8) The answer to 3 ( if relevant) is Combo. ????c?r?

Thx Keith. I did think of cocktail but " drinks" is plural so I was not convinced.

I trust you realise that it it is a type of cocktail in the plural. These cocktails are a type of combo found on the road.
