That would make 15ac Beast of burden (6) DONKEY wrong, letters would be D?N?N?

So your DONKEY is correct with CONVENE !

Yes, CONVENE, DOMINO and DRONGO all fit so DONKEY is also correct, thanks one and all.

As a birdwatcher, I've not heard of the DRONGO before so that is a new one for me.
