AB, I'm not having a good day, capitalised the wrong 'a' - should, of course, have been americATHENSweden.

Thanks to you all , this only my third cryptic in this paper can do sunday mail one no problem (ok it not the hardest i know ) i am scared to really tackle cryptics as just dont think i will get them but giving it a good go and when i see the answers you have given me it looks so easy least i am learning slowly .Thanks again awat to try finish it .

Thanks for that i do enjoy puzzles and my brain needs all the help it can get to keep it going !.I always feel bit daft asking for help then seeing the answer is easy and i could kick myself , then next time i can get the most obscure answer go figure eh and i have helped some people on this site and wondered how i worked the answers out .I managed to complete the crossword after the bit of help i got so feel bettet now.You are right everyone is so helpful and nice and thankyou for your kind words bridgereferee.:-)
