59. Ronald took part in a crooked deal with the robber.(7)Would be very grateful for a further clue, I have anagrammed every which way, but cannot solve this one. Only have 7 to do but this one has stumped me.

not a word that I knew but apparently it is Southwestern U.S. for a thief.

Go to "chambers word wizard"/anagram solver. Type in RON DEAL. You will get two answers,one of them is what you are looking for.
