@ mrs t do not worry about letting people down. Les gives u the answers (roughly 3) u set the clues and we all join in --- v good fun, v, difficult for some of us but it is all nice and allows all of different standards to join in. i really enjoy it--give it a go!!! honest guv

on the right lines chrise - some of the adjectives in the clue are a hint (eg revolting snob)

I agree with bobsmum about the JE, mrs T - lots of fun (and it means that there will be at least a few you can do when you see it!)

Lol, I like it chrise - answering your own clues. Ok, I'll give it a go, thanks both.

I want to do an anagram of gorgeous with 5 more letters. I tried taking "snob" out of "was he born", but couldn't come up with a recognisable name.

Dear rambler,

i always enjoy this challenge on mondays. However, i was wondering whether the rules could be slightly mollified. For instance ---- when a person has answered and set a clue they cannot answer the next clue. But to leave someone "out" until the next open could, in reality, be up to a couple of hours.
I am fairly new here so this is just a suggestion but i wonder if the game would "flow" a little easier. What r yr thoughts?
