Anyone done this and able to help? I've battled my way through the clues, have filled the grid -all I've left to do is highlight the 14 contiguous cells. It'd be great, for example, if I knew how many words I was looking for!

It's 3 words (3,5,6).

Any clues on what I should be removing from the grid?

Once you've got the verse you'll see part of the immediately preceding line in the grid - you've got to 'represent' what happens according to the rhyme. The key is to make sure that you don't just remove, but reposition.

The 14 letter phrase is where the object ends up assuming that you think only about the rhyme and not, as I did for too long, about what happened in history.

Thanks - I found it in the end. I'm not 100% sure if I've got 'preceding line of the verse' done correctly.
