17a looks like PRACTICE - is the O right?
Might the last one be BEGUILE? - def. not quite right

You were right chrise the o eas wrong so altered it now.I also had beguile in for 58d but rubbed it out it didnt seem to fit clue , but it is the daily record after all !.

I have 2 clues to check then that me done i think
9d(11) inspiration i have reassurance as only word that i could come to with letters i had but doesnt seem right
2d(5) hoax , swindle s?o?f is it spoof yet again doesnt seem to fit clue.

Both look fine.

I don't think INSPIRATION is a good clue for REASSURANCE either, but SPOOF is fine

Reassurance = Inspiration but oddly not the other way round.

I know reassurance serms wrong maybe someone out thete let me know what they have.
