Hullo all - fairly easy this week Except 12a, I've got -d-m/-o-d-a-t, Ian on tv ? assume adam but I don't know the surname ? further clues please

I had never heard of him either! You have "A mother" (A DAM) - the rest is an anagram, giving an unfamiliar (to me) surname

I hadn’t heard of him either, but that’s not surprising – I don’t know many names from TV. But deciding it was an anagram, and knowing some letters, I tried a guess at the first four letters of the surname and did a search on the internet. (That’s not cheating. Is it?)

Hi, All. A wee bit tricky this week, principally due to my lack of learning. I had never heard of the dramatist, and had to struggle a bit with one or two others. Still, got there in the end.

Evening all, is everyone OK? How are the treatments going? That seafood restaurant sounds like a nice plaice. Is the Strand bookshop still going in Padstow? There used to be so many books you were scared to move one for fear of starting an avalanche.
