Please help if you can! The clue is 'Keep prepared in fine form.' The answer is definitely 'haute cuisine' but I can't work out why! This is my first time using this site and I am very hopeful that someone out there may be able to help me!

Welcome to the site, trilby. I would love to help, but I can't see it either!

It seems "keep" is an obscure way of saying "food" as in "earn your keep" so, if prepared in fine form = haute cuisine.

Hi trilby. I've just had a look at FifteenSquared where there's a blog on the puzzle, and they don't seem to know either! The best guess is that 'keep' is a definition of 'food' - so food prepared in fine form. A bit of a weak clue!

Many thanks to you all; I kind of get it now but agree that it is quite a weak clue, I was expecting it to be more fiendish than that! I am very impressed with the speed of your responses; thanks again.
