Hi Can you please help I am stuck on two:

17 across cluse is: "TV show about female with bright prospects" 3/4 letters I have S-t/-a-r
I think set fair but have not heard the expression before. Also 25 across clue "chopped nuts going around" I have L-o-
I think loop or loon but cannot work out why.

TV is "SET" and show is AIR with F(emale) in the middle gives your answer

loopy is nuts, so loop is answer? loop(y)

i've not heard the phrase set fair either.

You would say "The weather is set fair" when fine weather is forecast

sorry, loon(y) would also work for chopped nuts, but something going around can be a loop.
