Just the one:

Sucker sucks resistance out of fruit = cuke (according to Roy's site). I thought it might have been dupe (to sucker...) but don't have an explanation in either case.

I like your dupe if it fits with other letters (= 'drupe' - 'r').

I think it's DUPE. Drupe is botanical term for certain types of fruit. remove r for resistance.

It's not one particular fruit,but a term for any fleshy one with a pip or stone. e.g.a peach.
