That's 21 down. I don't know the answer, I've only got three answers so far, and I'm not sure about one of them. I don't want a rotten portable DVD player anyway! (Exits, sulking).

Oops, I thought you were wondering what an electronic whistle was! I didn't notice that it was cross word related as you gave no indication of number of letters in the word(s)or known letters!!

I have finished, but it took 2 hours (at least) as it was a "stinker"! lol
I've got an answer for 21d Pipe, but not sure it is right.

The definition is a type of whistle; "electronic" is just "e"

... for those without the crossword the clue is High note on electronic whistle (4)

Would I be right in thinking 6d was the scene of a battle in World War 2?
