Looks like it might be fist law, as in put up yer dukes me hearty, etc.

Fist law had me puzzled for ages, but light has dawned - it's "Walt's If" (Whitman's and the Kipling poem) backwards ('about') - no wonder it's not listed as one of WW's poems.
