Trice is ok for moment but I have not got the crossword and you do not give any crossing letters.

I had t???e so couldn't think.of anything else but trice and as other clues i was unsure of 20a(8) stretched tightly st?a??n?d and 15d (4,2) exhausted ?s?d,?p .
I put strained and used up again think thats all it can be and daily record does sometimes have answers that not a 100% relevant to the clues.
