Hi Creoeso.

A couple of clues ...

16 (assuming 6 letter answer) ... A word meaning 'sounds of explosions' with 's' (for south) in it.
22 (assuming 4 letter answer) ... This answer is hidden in a newspaper item.
24 (assuming 8 letter answer) ... Under the Xmas tree.

To be honest, I'm not sure I have the right answer for no. 22 or for no.16, but (for the no.16 answer) there's usually lots on show at weddings (tee-hee) ;)

Hope this helps, not hinders.

not sure about the suggestion for 16though its a possiblity.
There are no letter counts on this one, and anagrams are announced after the question if they apply (but not with these)

Trevor - I assume the hint is therefore R*** - which I see & understand now but would associate more with a death - then again same thing I suppose LOL

Hi Graham.

I think Catholics (in particular) may use a Wedding R*** as their script - don't quote me though.

re no.16: Another (far less exciting) possible answer came to me while thinking of the temporary structures often used for weddings. It's not really much of an answer but, anyway, here's a clue:

16 (assuming 5 letter answer) ... Ecstasy in trinitrotoluene's it!
