Hi all,

Just struggling with a few sports related clues and wondered if anyone could help. 7 of us have no idea for the following. The answers are either sports or school sports day related

1) Prisoners do it in prison but bears need these (5)
2) The cockerel called at no 11 (7)
3) Not a diver but ending in a plunge (6)
4) The train arrives this minute (8)

3) driver (golf club) just a quess mind you just starting out on cryptics.

just looking again and previous answers are a load of you know what ! i calling it a night but going to check tommrw and see if answers there so i can find out how they were solved so hope someone knows them put me out my misery.

Forgot to say my best guess for 2 is Croquet. Obviously crow for the cockerel part but I can't see how the last part fits. No other ideas though :(

what does clue 11 refer to? it could be part of the croquet answer

2)Quet sounds like K, 11th letter of alphabet.

Guess we never gonna know the answers looked again today just cant think what any are, prisoners do time or bird etc but how what bears need mixed works who knows, these clues just may be a mystery that never be solved :-(.
