Thanks. I am a bit out of my league with some of these. With this crossword I usually do about twenty clues then grind to a halt! Some of the verbiage in the answers is archaic, eg 'Dam' in 'Dream'. Is 16dn, 'Hear about odd exercises being rubbish' - trumpery? - another?
