I don't see how 15ac works. I have heard the expession, but the answer to fit the clue should surely, only have 6 letters? Where is the def. if a final A is added (fulfilling the anagram)?

Nearly finished - had the wrong sort of fish in "spot for catching fish" - perch instead of place - bet I'm not the only one to do that.
No idea on 24dn married woman entertaining a neighbour (4) (for others, it's ?A?S)

You're in good company with the "fish": at first I had "speck"---have just discovered, tho' it's in the Bradford's list, it's actually whale blubber!!!
