If a bellringer takes 3 seconds to ring four o'clock, how long will it take him to ring midday ?
Please help if you can !!!

It's a bellringer, and he's pulling ropes, with spaces in between, so wouldn't it be 11 secs?

Think it's 11 seconds as it's the intervals between the bells. So 4 bells in 3 seconds. Think of s as swing and B as ring. sBsBsBsB - 3 gaps between B - 3 seconds.
For 12 -sBsBsBsBsBsBsBsBsBsBsBsB.
Lot of Bs, I know, but seems kosher.
