Hi. I initially had three queries tonight but just the act of typing out the first two caused me to 'see' them. Left with this one though...

"Pole's left out of his native country dance" = Polka.

Apparently Polska is Polish for Poland. Remove the S (pole) to give polka.
Polka means a Polish woman and a Central European dance.
Polska is a Nordic folk dance
All in all a highly unsatisfactory clue, I don't get it either!
