A but premature. On checking our answers came across 62, where we have put downtrodden. It has to be wrong as for a start it is one word. Any body got any hints?

Got it thanks for that. Just checking through and the only one we are not completely happy with is 49. We have bastard which is a cad and uses B from berlin and some other letters but it seems out of kilter somehow. Anybody got anything better?

It would be helpful to others KK if you now gave a few hints to the answers you have now got - eg No 85 which came to you whilst in this thread and which I for one still can't see, despite the many hints around!!

Sorry about that Famous Five. Had not taken that one on board. So here is a clue to 85

'Bob' is short for......? add to a 3 letter word for fellow. I had not heard this word before but when I looked it up it does mean a stout robber. Hope this helps.
