Good morning, GK
I've just sat down to look at it - speak to you later.

Finished. Got 27ac quite early (when it's warm, indeed!) and hence the play; then the quotation.
Not sure of the parsing of 10ac or 24ac,

Apologies to non-Guardian readers - I don't want to gratuitously give away the answers

Do you know, I had quite forgotten him - was trying to work out from your clue where "blair" fitted!
The other I had seen apart from the "trailer".
Thanks GK, and good luck with the Spec - I'm not a fan of puzzles where you have to d something with the solutions before enetering them.

Actually this week Chris you only haƩve to discover the theme in the "Spec.": I think you could manage it with your knowledge of sayings. I know what you mean about those where you first leave letters out or similar complications, though:take just one look at CAM 66 -- or rather, don't!

Yes, I've picked up the CAM crossword a few times .... and then put it down again, unsullied with writing, quite quickly.
