Good morning my friends. Hope today's offering will be fun. John

1. There's no score at each end of this game (7,6)
2. Eleven plus two may result in an identical outcome (6,4,3)
3. Bloomer’s cut for one’s private accommodation (4)
4. Arrogance may be evident when whispered in gossip (4)
5. Sound worker consumes drink to get extremely tipsy (4,3,6)

I'm going to a friend's mother's funeral and then to have my car-alternator replaced, so may be late getting home. See you later

Like you greedy kite I'm confident of 4/5 but less so about my solution for No 4.

I'll be back later to check.

Hope your day went OK Jolan.

My suggestions -

1) MUSICAL CHAIRS - Game.. No score (MUSIC) to end each round
2) TWELVE PLUS ONE - Same as (identical ) to eleven plus two (i.e 13)
3) GAFF - Accommodation...GAFF(E)(bloomer)cut
4) SIDE - Arrogance ..Sounds like (hearsay/gossip) Sighed (whispered)
5) HALE AND HEARTY - Sound...HAND (worker)consumes ALE HEAR (get)TY (extremely tipsy)

My No 4 is a bit iffy I think.

. There's no score at each end of this game (7,6)- Musical chairs?
2. Eleven plus two may result in an identical outcome (6,4,3)- Twelve plus one? (anagram)
3. Bloomer’s cut for one’s private accommodation (4)Gaff (e)?
4. Arrogance may be evident when whispered in gossip (4)- not sure - thought "side" but seems a bit tenous
5. Sound worker consumes drink to get extremely tipsy (4,3,6) Hale and hearty?
