A bit of explanation, please!

Lacking a beard, was foremost in danger = IMPERILLED = in danger

Doctor finally stopping fresh rash = IMPUDENT = rash

Drink four out of five brought up is made to disappear = EFFACED = made to disappear

Way in which common man is confused by setter = STREET = way = anag of setter

Thanks in advance! J

Hi.

Doctor finally stopping fresh rash = IMPRUDENT = rash ....

'impudent' (= 'fresh'?) + 'r' (last letter of 'doctor').

Thanks, guys!

Should have got 'man in the street' ref.

Was too wedded to 'rude' as fresh, didn't think of 'impudent'.

Never heard of 'imperial' beard.

Was along the lines of 'decaf', but didn't get to iv from five.

Best wishes to all.

J
