Hi, hifi. (Slap) (That's me giving you a hifi-ve.) Your "edisicon" is indeed an anagram; it's what I had to reach about posting this. As fur the "old town cat", it's the old name for an important town in Turkey, and is also the name of a breed of cat, but also a goat,from whose hair mohair is made.
