Struggling with the last 3 today. Could anyone help with 6dn?
Mafia-style base? (6,4)
I was quite happy with FAMILY HOME (from cosa nostra) until the second word went ?E?T when the crossers were solved. (First word ?A?I?Y, so still good for FAMILY)

Also 4dn Great writer, not comencing novel, starts to fill in coupons (8)
I ahve ?E?R?F?C
It must be TERRIFIC - I see the def. (great) and the Fill In Coupons bit, but can anyone help on relating TERRI to "writer not commencing novel"?
