Can anyone please help me with 30d,i put the word 'stout' but it doesn't fit in with39a which i think may be 'Uist'.

It's the Daily record big one xword.
Short and stout was the 30d clue for which i put 'stout' but it does not fit in with 39a which i believe is 'Uist'which would start where the o is in 'stout.thanks again all,
