Can anyone explain the second half of COLORADO if it's the answer to 26a:"Business ladies take Circle Line to river" (8). I get Co + L + O but not the "rado" bit ---or am I on the wrong track?

Many thanks, dja.Didn't think of "ladies" as loo!
And Chris: no, we only enjoy the spectacle every year because it's a good excust to have a picnic with friends in beautiful countryside. The commercial part was much smaller yesterday: the cavalcade before the cyclists, I mean. That so many Brits are there up front is a pleasant surprise:does anyone really have a chance of winning on Sunday?

Thanks greedy kite. I saw your wordplay, but I had to look it up - never heard of it - maybe you've been to Samoa, though?

Certainly not, but it somehow rang a bell after I'd guessed the rest!
