Hi Chuckle.

I think I saw this on an earlier thread:

A Bufflehead is a small North American diving duck (whose quack has no echo) also known as a butterball.

Thanks JimC, yes I saw that as well but butterball does not rhyme with Doll does it?

Maybe if you put on a Southern USA drawl and say 'ball' & 'doll' often enough, you might begin to think that they do sound similar.

Then again, maybe not.
