I'm not sure if this is an appropriate forum for this particular problem and please forgive my astounding ignorance but could you please explain why the solution to the clue "Black circle backed by hunting stars." is "Orion". I would just like to know so as to improve my understanding of cryptic crosswords. Thank you in advance.
