Two from yesterday that I forgot about (thanks to terry and trevor, incidentally):

"He's pernickety and fussy during fit of pique" = pedant.

"Queen's consort finished entertaining king" = drone.

Ooooh, I think I know this one! Although someone else will probably have replied by the time I finish typing...
Drone is the consort of the queen bee -
finished = done, incorporating R ie Rex for 'King'

Agree with Kiwikid on drone ...

Other one : He's pernickety and fussy during fit of pique" = pedant.

Pe(dan)t (pernickety person)
"AND" (anag) in PET (can be a fit of pique)
