It also gives an unlikely slant to the only other missing answer, which is : - 15d "Take tiller for craft of girl's organisation" (9) - I have "G*I*E**(? S from the above)*P" - I feel it could be "Guideship" (not a word I'm familiar with !), but then we get an "H" in the middle of Epsom, instead of an "S" - oh what a tangled web !!
