Hi there,

Am stuck on one today - 6d (10)'I perhaps second minimal amount of tax'. I've got
-a-i-a-i-t and can think of capitalist, maximalist or radicalist, but don't really see which one fits best with the clue. Any ideas?

Hi Jaybee - are you 100% sure of the letters?

If you are correct the only explanations I can see would be
"capitalist" someone would perhaps second the idea of minimal tax, but it could conceivably be "maximalist" as this might be perceived as an extreme view....

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your help. Obviously my thought processes were similar to yours.

I've gone for 'capitalist' as, now that I look again at the clue, I see that it's a capital I (obviously) giving CAPITAL-I-S (for second)-T (for minimal tax).

Clever, eh?
