...sitting here on the outside of a hearty brunch, watching England remind the Aussies how to play cricket, finshing off this month's Joint Effort and wondering what excitement lies in wait this evening to celebrate my 60th birthday. Thank you Les and all the other JE contributors for playing your part in making my day.

Many happy returns, Bullfrog. Despite the iffy weather in West Kent, I'm on barbecue duty today for my baby daughter's 21st. Just popped in to take a break from the rain!

Oh Bullfrog, very, very many happy returns. When I had my 60th, I remembered my mother saying her 60s were the happiest decade of her life. It has been true of mine, too.
All the very best for yours.

Happy Birthday! 60 is the new 50.
You're as young as you feel. I feel about 32, then I look in the mirror :(
