Hi there,

Grateful for any help with the following:-

1a (4) 'Crucial point about male unmoved'. I've got --m- and am thinking acme, but am not sure.

1d (80 'Serious problems with recent German flowers'. I've got --u-o-e- and can only think of 'teutones' but am not convinced.

17a (6) 'causes irritation when audible in exams' -r-a-s and can only think of 'groans' or 'trials' but again, not sure which or even why.

1a can't be ACME because 1d is NEUROSES and the two answers share the same first letter. I have NUMB for 1a. NUB (crucial point) containing M (about male).
