Hi
Can anyone explain 10 across to me:
Soil left trapped by Caribbean sandbank (4) _L_Y
I think it should be clay
am I correct?

a Cay is the Caribbean equivalent of a Key in Florida - a small sandy island ( as in Cayman Islands?) - around L for left

Cay is a sandbank, same as key.
contains l for left

Cay is the same as Key (as in the Florida Keys) and means a low island or reef. The 'l' from 'left' is added to end up with 'clay',
