8d "One revels in tight score, getting runs" (10)- answer must be "Merrymaker" - but why ?
I can see two "R's"(runs ?), but the rest of it leaves me confused (.com!)

merry = tight, Make = score, r for runs. That was my reasoning.

thanks, both. Being a cricketer perhaps I can accept "make" as a synonym for "score" runs, but it is a tiny bit tenuous !!
