Need these three explained:-

Snooty young lady backstage - GAL (this may well be wrong)

Anger when republic lose ground - IRE (anger)
Is it EIRE but why losing ground?

Deep coal layer, for instance, lacking money - SEA (SEA - M) but what's the definition?

1) I thought gel very posh for gal/girl with a stage being a leg(backwards)

Ire losing land. The Republic of Ireland

3)Sea as in "the deep" I thought that might be the definition.

Anger when republic lose ground - IRE (anger)
Is it EIRE but why losing ground?- E for earth- ground?

Deep coal layer, for instance, lacking money - SEA (SEA - M) but what's the definition? Deep- sea?
