no question, 2dn is unit. if you look at 4dn's answer, IN TUNE, INTU is anag of unit and NE is "nearly new". Intune=properly pitched.

Also, 27dn is very tenuous. Fellow-diners' dish(4). came up with MESS. fellow=me, ie, myops, dining=ss, ie, silver-service, giving MESS, a dish of food, as well as being a place where it me be served. phew!
