Hello RT'ers - trust you have been enjoying the weather over the past few days. Looks like it will be considerably cooler for the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend. Our Village will be pretty lively over the weekend with many events and parties planned. Only had a couple of problems with the crossword this week - 23A and 2D had me flummoxed for a while. Hope you all have a great weekend

Morning Chrisg. Good for you finishing already. 2d and 23 ac I`ve got. Stuck on 12 ac - convinced it`s an anagram but can`t get it!

I have only just started, and am puzzling over the pasta, but I do have 12a
Magworth, 12a "all the time" is the definition. Change "for" to another 3-letter word and then anagram with "play lute".
Off to have lunch in the garden with an iced drink.

Hi Jazzgirl - in the garden, just the right place! I have got an answer meaning `all the time` but it messes up 5d !! I`m sure you`ll get the pasta when you`ve had a nice cool rest. Maga. (starts with a word for `is able to`)

Bonjour to all - I am here puzzling with you at last as now I have a friend back in the UK well trained to scan and email the puzzle to me as soon as it lands on her hall floor! I think I have 7ac but am not quite sure of the why. Also struggling with 23ac and 2d - it always seems to be the little ones that get me stuck. Thought this was a difficult puzzle at first, but once I got going it all started falling into place.
