OK, I'll bite!

I don't usually do Brummie, and I didn't enjoy this one. Even though I've got the answers, in some cases I can't see why, and for others I just think, 'Meh, not satisfying'. Maybe it's just the way I'm feeling today.

I (only) don't have 13A, though early on I knew what I thought it ought to be - just can't see how the last 3 letters fit the clue and can't think of anything else. All the other answers fit - but why 'tum' for 'corporation'?

Or 'mid-month' for 8D?

Or 2D?

And with 6D, I assume the editor = (Al)an, and then you could say it's an anagram of 'wears', but then what's 'ble'; or you could say the fur is sable, in which case what's 'wer'?

Oh, and (while we're at it), what about 13D - it apparently had 'Hear' missing from the start of it, but it still doesn't make sense to me, even though there's only one answer which gives the right drink - ? (And another answer which fits and means 'broadcast'.)

I hope this makes you feel needed!

Bring back Araucaria.

2d poor clue - DE and AD are both half of "dead"
8d middle of the month is IDES (as in ides of march), move last letter up to first.
15a "corporation" is a slang term for - how shall I put it? - large waist!
13d I agree - I only got this one to complete the drink

Thanks, ChrisE!

Actually, I liked the clue for 2D - another typo by me, sorry, I meant 3D and someone else has now explained it.
