Good morning folks. Hop you enjoy. I hesitate to say "a little more difficult" so I will not! See you later. J

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm (GMT + 1) to allow others to have a go.

1. Open controversy about hospital upset (9)
2. Scriptwriter at Ealing Studios agrees to include repeat (7)
3. Listed building turns away unsheltered (6)
4. Rubbish contains a form of VD? (8)
5. Flower attendant gets into bed as sun drops (5-4,5)

Just taking a peek in. Hi Andyc, Ari (funny how 4 jumped out at you, lol), Jazzy and Peterm. Well done P if you've got 'em all. I've tried to raise the difficulty level slightly this week. Back to the garden now. CU ltr.

Checking back in. Only have 1, 4, and 5 (preoccupied today). The shadowy peterm is such a showoff, though he claims he gave up on CAM 65; not sure if I believe him.

1 OVERTHROW
2 Haven't got this, though the Austro-Hungarian novelist DUTSGNI (hidden backwards in Ealing Studios) wrote the screenplay for the unsuccessful "How Green Was My Walleye". Spooky or what?
3 cosmic void
4 SANCTION
5 BLACK-EYED SUSAN
