Soft = p (as in piano)
Washer = launderer (but lunderer "without a")

Therefore plunderer (a stripper as in asset stripper) is the answer - a type of "baddie"

I do hope the Rainbow quiz is not going to degenerate into a bit of a farcical free for all like the last time though!
