Did not fare well today at all...

"Your king wants you in city" = York. A case of the K replacing the U in Your? Crap clue??

"Capable of doing" = up to. I can't even see how this would be cryptic...

Not great clues but - Yo(miss out the u)rK gives the city in the clue

Capable = up to
Doing = up to(as in mischief)

1. up to = up to the job = capable of doing (the job).
2. wants = lacks. i.e. lacks u (you) = york.
