22a - I see 'abutilon', a plant, but how does it fit? Did they get the anagram wrong or am I missing something?
(Where's the 'n' from?)
Also, theodolite fits the anagram in 13d but how does that work please?

13d remind me of the clue it has been answered and explained. As regards Abutilon theres no clear agreement.

13d Found it, not my answer but `Transit` mentioned in clue is an early specialised type of Theodolite
