Can someone explain the answer to the 12 down - mee too, dog. The answer is Sampson, why?
There were six of us at work doing the crosswrd but, we had to Google the answer and don\'t know why this came up.

I wonder if Trevor's subconscious was working overtime when he asked "what is the name of the setter ?". Although I don't think Sampson is a setter, he is a dog!

Trevor is right it was discussed last week and Sams(p)son has been a crossword setter for the daily record. It seems there are more Me Too! (kids tv) references today too though

When I wrote in post #6 "Although I don't think Sampson is a setter, he is a dog!" I could have stated it less ambiguously as "Although Sampson is a dog, I don't think that his breed is a setter!".

Getting there, slowly ...
