Rather grumpily, I concede defeat! I keep picking up the paper from Saturday and assume a fresh view will answer three final clues - but no!

6d - Priest joining party in Johannesburg, once ready (5) F???C
7d - One has teeth to chew on things (it ate leaves) (3) C?? Cow or Cud? But cannot see why.
10a - Answer urge at first to get up suddenly some days (6) ????s? Presumably has "a u" in it, but...?

I know you will all have moved on from Saturday but thanks for your retrospective...

7d COG (COGITATE- it ate leaves)

I am wondering whether 7d is cog (one has teeth)...?
