Two interlocked clues are stopping me from finishing this.
20,21d)Genital warts trouble spots, short hour required for treatment. (7,7)
B-O-*-N S-R-*-S
27ac)Run round back of loo given little time and caught short- reason for shitting yourself?
*-T -*-R-
(The shared letters indicated by asterisks are in the correct order, ie-the first one in B-O-*-N = *-T etc.,).

27 I think is Ectosarc (can mean ectoplasm substance emanating from a medium communicating with the dead)
Run around (race) = ecar +back of loo = o given little time = t + (c)aught (s)hort

Dear chrisg-I have done the unforgiveable! I realise now that it is two words, thus;
--T -*-R-
I was most impressed with your answer, v. clever, but I think too esoteric for Viz, which is all bums and tits and words from Profannasaurus. In fact I suspect that one or both of these answers are from this book, which I don't have . On the other hand none of the remaining clues are from the book...

Hard to see how the two words split. Is it 4,4 3,5 or 5,3?
