Some great clues in this weeks grid, however, I'm a bit vague with my last clue answer, any enlightenment would be much appreciated.

16d) Censor volume about girl from the south (8)

- A - I - I - E

I'm thinking the answer must be SATIRIZE.

volume = size
about/containing
girl = Rita (from the south / coming up = atir)

That leaves the word for Definition being 'Censor'
Satirize can mean to Censure, but I thought that Censor didn't mean the same in this sense (Censor and Censure are linked, however, Censor on its own wouldn't be synonymous with Satirize.... I think?)

I know it's a bit pedantic, but is anyone certain of the meaning when used in this way?

Bravo aristo, I'm throwing Rita out and moving Tina in.

I wonder if that will evoke some synchronicity from an old relationship for someone!

Cheers.
